Maganlal Dresswalla "India's Leading Costumiers",the pioneer in
supplying costumes & accessories to the Indian film industry was
established in the year 1926, almost a hundred years ago.
In the early 30's, when there were only stage shows like the
"RAMLEELA" where even the girl characters were enacted by
men, since then the company had started its niche in this industry.
When silent and talkie movies were unheard of, Maganlal
Dresswalla had provided costumes for the first ever talkie movie
"Alam Aara" in the history of Indian Movies.

The company was established by Mr. Harilal Dresswalla and named after his older brother , Maganlal. Mr. Harilal had provided costumes for innumerable films. After he passed away, his reign of giving service to our Indian film industry was carried forth by his son, Mr. Suresh H Dresswalla. Since last 45 years, he continues to make his contribution to the entertainment industry by providing for films, serials, events, shows on rental & sales basis.
